Events Trips Outdoors Mountaineering Snowboarding Walking 1996 Europe UK Scotland	Sat 28 Dec 1996 Staying in a couple of cottages by the Nevis Bank Hotel. With Liz, Howie, Jim, Caroline, Mike, Lucy, Sean, Andy, Jenny, Clare, Roger, Mark Syrett, Will Wray, Simon Love, Ruth and Sam. Sat 28 Dec 1996 Drove up from Frog Hall with Liz and Howie. Sun 29 Dec 1996 Up Sgor na h-Ulaidh from the east end of Glen Coe. Tried out a GPS with occassional success. Snow above 400m. Cold, so lots of ice, but no wind. With Liz, Howie, Jim, Sean, Mark, Will, Simon, Ruth and Sam. Mon 30 Dec 1996 Eastern end of the north Kintail ridge with Liz, Jim, Clare and Roger. Tue 31 Dec 1996 Slobbing round Fort William. Bought some new crampons. Wed 1 Jan 1997 Solo ascent of Binnein Beag , to take me past the halfway mark on the Munro list. Thu 2 Jan 1997 Beinn Sgulaird with Liz. Fri 3 Jan 1997 Snowboarding on Aonach Mor with Howie, Sean and Liz.
